Wheelbarrow Farm was founded in spring 2008 by first-generation farmer Tony Neale on a 10-acre parcel outside Uxbridge, about an hour northeast of Toronto (farm gate at 535 Durham Rd 13, Sunderland); since 2018 Tony has owned it with Debbie Kinoshita and Garrett Maxfield. The farm grows more than 50 vegetable crops plus flowers, fruit and nut trees without pesticides or herbicides, and runs on solar power with Canada's first Solectrac electric tractor. Its CSA delivers 12 bi-weekly baskets from mid-May to the end of October, with fruit and flower add-ons and pickup at Toronto community sites or the farm gate. In 2026 it sells at the Evergreen Brick Works Saturday market (to October 17) and the Leslieville Farmers' Market on Sundays (to October 25).

We started Branching Path Farm in 2017, on the land of our friends and farm mentors, Simpler Thyme Organic Farm, in Freelton, ON. In October 2019, we moved to our own land, in Simcoe, Norfolk County. We now have approximately 2 acres of field space in annual vegetables and fruits, with another 3 acres of wild space, berries, flowers and trees. From the start, we have sold our products at the Ottawa Street Farmers Market in East Hamilton. We use organic growing practices at all times, but we have not sought organic certification. We prefer to rely on the transparency of showing our customers what we do.

Kimmy and Delano Osmond grow Beauty, Beast, and Boreal Blizzard haskaps on about five acres, applying organic methods though not certified organic. Kimmy has been wine-making since 2012 and brings Métis heritage into foraging, preserving, and wine from local plants and fruit.
