Branching Path Farm
Branching Path Farm is a small, diverse vegetable farm in Simcoe, Norfolk County. It started in 2017 on land at Simpler Thyme Organic Farm in Freelton and moved to its own land in 2019, where it now has about two acres of vegetables and fruit plus three acres of wild space, berries, flowers and trees. The farm uses organic practices without certification: no pesticides, chemical fertilizers or treated seed. Alongside staples like salad mix, kale, chard, carrots, garlic, tomatoes and squash, it grows Asian greens, ground cherries, cucamelons and specialty radishes, plus vegetable seedlings in spring. It has sold at the Ottawa Street Farmers Market in Hamilton on Saturdays since the start.
