About
Owner Shawn Zurawski is a descendant of a long line of fisherman. His grandfather Henry LePage opened the “world famous” Henry’s Fish Restaurant in San Souci (Frying Pan Island) on Georgian Bay. Zurawski sources Georgian Bay fish from his uncle Bernie LePage, who fishes commercially, from ice out to December, from Thunder Beach. Local fish species sold fresh and frozen include pickerel, yellow perch, whitefish, lake trout, herring and rainbow trout, as they are available. Whitefish and lake trout are species that Zurawski smokes for his shop and his uncle’s shop near Parry Sound.
