AE Natural Meats
AE Natural Meats is a family farm at 19619 McCowan Road in Mount Albert, East Gwillimbury, owned and operated by Michael and Judie Zajac. Bought in 2000 for Dr. Michael Zajac's veterinary practice, the farm shifted in 2010 to raising grass-fed and grass-finished animals after the family went looking for a transparent source of quality meat. It raises grass-fed and grass-finished lamb and beef, plus pasture-raised heritage pigs, chickens and turkeys supplemented with organic, non-GMO grain and fresh vegetables, all without steroids, hormones or antibiotics, and uses the whole animal. Its meat and eggs are sold at the on-site farm gate store and at farmers' markets, and the farm hosts events such as East Gwillimbury Farm to Fork and Christmas on the Farm.
