Grumpy's Greens
Grumpy's Greens is a small-scale urban market garden run by Evan Hadley on two small plots in St. Catharines and Niagara-on-the-Lake, under an eighth of an acre in total. It grows vegetables, salad greens and microgreens with no-dig, human-powered regenerative methods, without tilling, synthetic fertilizers or toxic pesticides, picking varieties for flavour. It sells through a seasonal CSA, farmers' markets, restaurants and small grocers, and first planted in 2020.
