Pure and Simple Farm
Pure and Simple Farm is a small-scale farm at 1420 Middletown Road in Millgrove, run by head farmer and operator Alissa, who studied agriculture at the University of Guelph - Ridgetown. The farm uses organic and regenerative practices, including crop rotation, inter-cropping, polyculture and no-till, and sells seasonal fruit, vegetables, eggs and preserves. It sells at the Dundas Farmers' Market on Thursdays (2-6pm) and the Annette Village Farmers' Market in Toronto on Wednesdays (3-7pm), welcomes visitors at the farm on Saturdays and Sundays 9am-4pm, and hosts farm dinner parties, a volunteer work share and a free fall Squash Fest.
